In Wine Country is a weekly series airing on NBC stations that brings the unique wine country lifestyle home to you.


In each episode, we go behind the scenes to show you the best of wine country, including world-famous wineries, celebrity chefs, gardens, decorating ideas, arts, artisan foods, great escapes and adventures. We also feature tips on how to enjoy wine country living at home with your family.  In Wine Country shares our passion for the wine country lifestyle.


Mary Babbitt has hosted our award-winning show since its inception in 2002. “Hosting In Wine Country combines all my favorite things - great wine, good food, interesting people, gardening and decorating,” Mary says.  “I’ve learned wine country is much more than a beverage -- it’s a lifestyle, it’s great people and amazing places. It’s a connection with nature and all the good things in life.” 

In Wine Country is a winner of the James Beard Award for best local food show.  Our show staff has won numerous other awards, including nine Emmys.
